EU collapse as seen from the future

In the heart of Brussels, just blocks away from the EU institutions, the House of European History in Exile gives an insight into the heritage of the European Union. Not much news there, if it wasn’t for the fact that the backdrop of the exhibition is the year 2063 – and the EU is no more. The entire museum is a fictitious project by the artist Thomas Bellinck, depicting an EU collapse in 2018.

My radio report on the House of European History in Exile was broadcasted on Deutsche Welle‘s flagship programme on European affairs, Inside Europe, on 15 June 2013.

Have a listen to the piece below!
